Every software package contains a full set of examples suitable for that version and are installed with the software. If you see examples here that are not in your installation you should consider updating to a later version of the software. These examples can be used by beginners and advanced users for product evaluation, teaching purposes, and self-training.

Required Modules

Victory Process

  • 3D Structure Editor
  • 3D Stress

Victory Mesh

  • 3D Meshing

The example demonstrates how various boundary conditions can be used to calculate stress in a cantilever beam. A simple 3D beam is constructed using Victory Process and remeshed in Victory Mesh. To save the stress mesh for Stress calculations in the subsequent VP section, the structure in saved using “mode=clever ” in Victory Mesh.

The example defines different the boundary conditions, like SBOX, SPLANE, SLINE, & SPOINT and loops over the stress calculation to calculate stress for all 4 boundary conditions one-by-one.
Note how each boundary condition effectively produces same displacement, showing symmetry in the the set boundary conditions.

To load and run this example, select the Load button in DeckBuild > Examples. This will copy the input file and any support files to your current working directory. Select the Run button in DeckBuild to execute the example.
