Which tools a kit covers
Each kit names the Silvaco tools it supports, from schematic capture and simulation to layout, verification and parasitic extraction. A kit only helps if it fits the flow you run, so the tool list matters as much as the node.

Silvaco supplies generic and demonstration kits as well as foundry-specific ones. How you
get any of them depends on whether you already hold a license.

Sign in to the support portal. Foundry-specific PDKs and free demo PDKs each have their own download route there, next to your software and manuals.

Silvaco lists 47 process design kits across 10 foundries: ams AG, DB HiTek, GSMC, Pioneer Micro Technology, Tower Semiconductor, TSMC, UMC, Vanguard, X-FAB and YITOA Micro Technology. Tower Semiconductor (15 kits) and X-FAB (13) supply the most, followed by 10 TSMC PDKs. The other seven foundries have one or two kits each.
