Every software package contains a full set of examples suitable for that version and are installed with the software. If you see examples here that are not in your installation you should consider updating to a later version of the software. These examples can be used by beginners and advanced users for product evaluation, teaching purposes, and self-training.

- 2D Diffusion & Implantation
The following example shows how to define analytical (gaussian and constant) doping profiles and how to import a 1D doping profile.
The example extracts a 1D doping profile from the simulated structure and imports it on bare silicon. This technique comes handy during 2D simulations: one can simply import 1D profiles (simulated or experimental data) into the 2D structure and save runtime. The doping profile file is simply two column ascii data so the source of the data is immaterial.
The PROFILE statement imports a 1D or 2D profile (like doping profile or stress profile) into the volumetric data mesh of Victory Process. The profile is imported in vertical direction starting from the surface.
Finally visualization shows the original analytical gaussian profile, the extracted 1D doping profile and the structure with the imported doping profile.
