米国カリフォルニア州サンタクララ発 – 2020年11月12日 –EDAソフトウェアおよび設計IPのリーディング・サプライヤであるSilvaco, Inc.(以下シルバコ)は本日、Dolphin Design SAS(以下Dolphin Design)のメモリ・コンパイラ技術とスタンダードセル・ライブラリの買収を完了したことを発表しました。Dolphin Designは、25年以上にわたり、超低消費電力・高密度メモリ・コンパイラをSoCデザイン・コミュニティに提供してきました。今回の買収により、シルバコの設計IPポートフォリオが拡張され、IoT、AI / ML、5G、および高性能コンピューティング・アプリケーション向けのSoCにおける超低電力で高密度の組み込みメモリに対するニーズの高まりに対応します。
