Every software package contains a full set of examples suitable for that version and are installed with the software. If you see examples here that are not in your installation you should consider updating to a later version of the software. These examples can be used by beginners and advanced users for product evaluation, teaching purposes, and self-training.
Required Modules
Victory Mesh
- 3D Meshing
- 3D Solid Modeling
In this example, 3D Solid Modeling with Victory Mesh is used to demonstrate the functionality of the SPLIT command. A pyramid is created then split at an arbitrary location into two pieces. These two pieces can be reused. For example, one piece could be rotated and then they could be both joined back together or one or more of the pieces could be used in separate simulation.
Note: SPLIT is different from CROP. If a structure is SPLIT then all resulting parts are available for re-use. CROP cuts out and keeps the piece of interest and the remaining is discarded.
