Every software package contains a full set of examples suitable for that version and are installed with the software. If you see examples here that are not in your installation you should consider updating to a later version of the software. These examples can be used by beginners and advanced users for product evaluation, teaching purposes, and self-training.
Required Modules
Victory Device
- 2D Simulator
- 2D Organic
This example demonstrates the basic characteristics of the doping dependent organic hopping mobility model. The simulations will produce graphs of mobility as a function of dopant density for an organic material. It demonstrates:
Single organic layer definition using Victory Device syntax
Hopping mobility model specification using ODEFECTS and MODELS statements
Material parameter specification
Mobility specification
Contact specification
DBInternal specification
The template Victory Device input deck is used to calculate the hopping mobility in an organic material. The dopant density is specified using DeckBuild SET command. The parameters of interest (the hopping mobility) are extracted using “extract from 2d.max.conc ” capability.
The content of the template file can be seen inside the input deck file *_DBIntenal.in.
This file starts with GO internal command which transfers control from the current simulator (i.e., Victory Device) to DBInternal. The deck file consists of two main parts:
LOAD command specifies which template file should be used for multiple runs.
SWEEP command specifies how the variables set in the template file should be changed. In this example, the dopant density varies from 1e17 to 1e20. The number of simulations is set to 10.
SAVE command tells DBInternal to collate the data generated in all extract commands into the file *_Mobility_vs_DopantDensity.log.
After all simulations are complete, the resulting mobility vs dopant density is plotted in Victory Visual.
