Every software package contains a full set of examples suitable for that version and are installed with the software. If you see examples here that are not in your installation you should consider updating to a later version of the software. These examples can be used by beginners and advanced users for product evaluation, teaching purposes, and self-training.

Liquid Crystal(LC) is a widely used display material for realizing virtual reality and augmented reality display applications. Recently, LCoS(Liquid Crystal on Silicon) has been widely implemented in augmented reality (AR) displays because of its high luminance and high-resolution density and potential of holography generation. In this example, we construct LCoS(Liquid Crystal on Silicon) LCD structure using Victory Process process simulator without silicon and backplane. The light(image) will be incoming from the pixel side(back plane) and the reflected Aluminum reflector. The light will be traveling twice the total thickness of liquid crystal. Victory Mesh generates the conformal mesh for VictoryRCx LCD input structure and calculation. VictoryRCx solves liquid crystal equation and returns the LC director profile in the structure which can be used in the following phase or phase retardation calculation. We extract normalized LC director component in each x and y and then plot the phase change as described in the reference.
