Every software package contains a full set of examples suitable for that version and are installed with the software. If you see examples here that are not in your installation you should consider updating to a later version of the software. These examples can be used by beginners and advanced users for product evaluation, teaching purposes, and self-training.

Victory Extract

There is often the need to extract the y value from a curve at a specified x, or vice versa. Furthermore, it is often the desire to do further manipulation of the extracted value.

In this example, a breakdown voltage simulation curve is used. Often “breakdown ” is defined as the drain voltage at a certain value of drain current. As such, this example demonstrates how to extract the x value (drain voltage in this instance) at a specified y axis value (drain current).

Often further manipulation of the extracted value is desired. In the second part, RdsOn is calculated. The voltage at a given current is extracted, the current and voltage are converted to resistance, then further converted to mOhm.
