An Introduction to Meshing in Victory Process
Introduction
Victory Process (VP) uses two types of mesh to represent the structure:
- The geometry mesh, which is used to represent the material regions
- The volume mesh, which is used to represent the volume data (doping etc)
These two meshes are independent of each other. The following article provides a brief introductory overview of these meshes at an application level along with their definition in a simulation. For further details, please refer to the VP manual or the archived webinar “Silvaco TCAD: Introduction and the Basics Section 3 – Process Simulation” available at www.silvaco.com.
