Bill Latino
VP Sales, Americas
Bill Latino leads the Americas Sales team committed to building long term partnerships and competitive success for Silvaco’s customers. Prior to joining Silvaco, he led several global business development initiatives, enabling several start-ups to successfully drive revenue and establish market presence. He has also served in many sales’ leadership roles with multinational semiconductor companies such as Xilinx, AMD and Altera.
He holds a BS degree in Computer Engineering from Drexel University along with extensive training in sales negotiations and M&A.
Andrew Patterson
Director of Sales, EMEA
Andrew Patterson joined Silvaco in 2023, and leads the European and Middle East sales team. The team is committed to building long-term partnerships, and business relationships with semiconductor technology innovators across the region. Prior to joining Silvaco, he led the global automotive embedded software business at Siemens EDA, and has held business development and marketing leadership positions in the EDA industry for over 30 years.
He holds a masters degree in Engineering and Electrical Sciences from Cambridge University, UK.
ManGyu Hwang
VP Sales, Asia & GM Korea
Man-Gyu Hwang has over twenty-five years of experience in the EDA and TCAD software industry. He has served as the president of Silvaco Korea Co., Ltd since 1994, focusing on semiconductor software marketing and sales.
With his experience and management skills, Silvaco Korea Co., Ltd has become a leading provider of flat panel display software solutions in Korea, as well as other novel semiconductor technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hanyang.
Naoto Kameda
VP Sales & GM, Japan
Naoto Kameda joined Silvaco in 2006 and has since been responsible for numerous significant sales activities in TCAD and EDA software, working with clients that include major electronic companies and semiconductor foundries.
Currently, Kameda holds the position of Vice President of Sales and General Manager, overseeing Silvaco Japan’s entire sales team since assuming this role in 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Kanto Gakuin University.
Zhao Qingda
Managing Director, Singapore
Zhao Qingda is the Managing Director of Silvaco Singapore office. He joined Silvaco in May, 2005. Currently he is in charge of Silvaco Singapore management and sales of Silvaco products in Singapore, Australia, South East Asia.
Zhao Qingda holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Chiping Tu
GM, Taiwan
Chiping Tu is the General Manager of Silvaco Taiwan office. Since joining Silvaco in 2008, he has been responsible for sales of all Silvaco products in Taiwan and the management of the Silvaco Taiwan team.
Chiping Tu holds a master’s degree in electrical & computer engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University.
Ellison Zhao
VP Sales & GM, China
Ellison Zhao is Vice President of Sales and General Manager of Silvaco China. He joined Silvaco in 2016 as regional account manager. He has more than 20 years’ experience in technical support, business development, sales, general management in the EDA software and semiconductor IP industry.
Ellison Zhao holds a BS in Applied Physics from Shanghai University and a MS in Electronic and Communication Engineering from Fudan University.
Dr. Firas Mohamed
VP Adv. R&D & GM France
Dr. Firas Mohamed is Vice President of Advanced R&D and General Manager of Silvaco France. He has over twenty-five years experience in the EDA industry. He started his work in EDA field by developing a complete model-based test & diagnosis system for analog and mixed-signal circuits during his PhD studies.
In 2005 he was the winner of the French National Competition rewarding innovative technologies, which led him to the creation of Infiniscale S.A. which he served as President & CEO until its acquisition by Silvaco in 2015. Firas started his professional career at Mentor Graphics with the SPICE simulation team, where he oversaw the modeling and optimization environment. In 2000, Firas took over the CAD technology development department of MEMSCAP S.A.
He is one of the first to introduce AI and Machine Learning to EDA in 1993. He is author and co-author of tens of scientific papers and holds two patents on Machine Learning improvement of EDA solutions.
Firas holds a computer science engineer degree from HIAST, the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology of Damascus and a PhD in Microelectronics from INPG, the National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble in France.
