TCAD of Innovative Nanodevices with Victory Atomistic

This webinar will introduce to the simulation capabilities of Victory Atomistic (VA) as part of the Silvaco TCAD suite of tools. VA is a multipurpose nanodevice simulation tool based on the NEMO5 software created at Purdue University. It has more than 100 years of teamwork development. The focus of VA is the prediction of electronic and phonon bandstructure and quantum transport properties in semiconductor and metal nanodevices with atomic resolution. Full coverage of real-world effects in nanowire FET devices and optoelectronics will be explored.

What attendees will learn:

  • Nemo5 and Silvaco environment
    • Device structure
    • Band structures
    • Solvers
  • Key challenges of atomistic TCAD simulation
    • Quantum effects and devices
    • Non-Equilibrium Green’s functions
    • Optimization
  • Examples
    • NW-FET, T-FET
    • Optoelectronics
    • Scattering effects
