The 2024 IEEE World Technology Summit (WTS 2024) is for the design and development community that needs to define and implement the infrastructure elements needed to enable AI. To help guide product requirements, we share challenges and strategies that can lead to cooperation and successful implementations.

This event is focused on Industry. We asked industry leaders what we should address and they told us they need a bridge between product development teams and the research community. The conference features speakers working at the cutting edge of what it takes to provide AI infrastructure now and in the future.

IDW consists of workshops technically categorized into specialized domains playing important roles in the information display technology and its application. Each workshop organizes its own sessions, which consist of oral presentations by invited/contributing speakers and poster presentations. There will also be demo sessions where you can see and experience actual devices or technologies related to the content of the presentations. The workshops should be of interest not only to researchers and engineers but also to those who manage companies and institutions in the information display community.

IEEE International Electron Devices Meeting (IEDM) is the world’s preeminent forum for reporting technological breakthroughs in the areas of semiconductor and electronic device technology, design, manufacturing, physics, and modeling. IEDM is the flagship conference for nanometer-scale CMOS transistor technology, advanced memory, displays, sensors, MEMS devices, novel quantum and nano-scale devices and phenomenology, optoelectronics, devices for power and energy harvesting, high-speed devices, as well as process technology and device modeling and simulation.

On the occasion of the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Integrated Circuit Design Branch of the China Semiconductor Industry Association, the “Shanghai IC 2024 Annual Industry Development Forum and China IC Design Industry Exhibition” will be held concurrently in Shanghai from December 11 to 12, 2024.
This year’s conference, themed “Smart Shanghai, Empowering the World with Chips” will delve into the opportunities and challenges faced by the integrated circuit industry, particularly the IC design sector. It aims to enhance innovation and strengthen the comprehensive capability of China’s integrated circuit industry chain to meet market demands and improve international competitiveness.
