He then worked as a \u201cbeltway bandit\u201d contractor to NASA Goddard Space Flight Center for infrared sensors for space and atmospheric applications.<\/p>\n<p>He joined Hughes Aircraft in El Segundo as a staff physicist to work on infrared focal plane arrays for military applications. After joining the Rockwell Science Center as a staff physicist, he worked on hybrid infrared focal plane arrays with cryogenic CMOS for space and astronomical applications. He also participated in the use of TCAD to develop a silicon IGBT for motor drives.<\/p>\n<p>He liked TCAD so much that he joined Silvaco as a Senior TCAD Applications Engineer, where he has been for 18 years. He supports customers and their use of TCAD for a wide range of materials, processes and device applications from CMOS to QWIPs, and from HEMTs to Lasers and OLEDs.
